For those who attended the recent SpoonFed Talks event "How to run a successful business (Even with a baby!)" Will know that I was there not only taking photos of the event but I had a little special gift for all Mums in attendance which was the opportunity to have a free portrait photo taken with their little ones.
So the idea being us mum’s are constantly taking photos of our babies, right? And so we inevitably end up being the ones taking photos of everyone else with our babies. It’s a sad but true fact. And I guess the idea stemmed from this and the not so secret fact that I don’t particularly like being in front of the camera much prefer the safety of being behind the lens, however, from my own experiences with my dear Mum, who also hates her photo being taken it does upset me a little to think that in years to come all I’ll have is memories and no photos to back them up!
Being visual it’s not just a photographers thing, we all love to look at photos to remember events, special occasions and precious moments in time. So, “Something for the Mama's” is probably going to end up being some kind of project for me, potentially. Fuelled even more by one mum at the event who also made the comment that she is always the one doing the photo taking. Well here’s a lift gift from me to you, dear Mama.
Take a look at the portraits below of some of the Mums from Tuesday’s event and their unbelievably cute baby’s and toddlers.
If you would like a portrait session of you and your little one, there are still a few dates left to book the fantastic mini photo shoot offer that will finish at the end of July. To enquire about dates contact me by email.
