As the shutter clicked and the sensor in camera did it's thing I knew in an instant this would be the one I used as my first 'Why I love this photo' post for 2018.
I don't think there's a need for an explanation with this one. But escaping the obvious, a. unbearably cute smile and b. the unbearably cute fact that he's in the midst of a melt down in stitches, I wanted a photo that pretty much summed up how my 2018 began and how it will continue.
Why I love this photo?...
For start it makes me grin alongside him like a cheshire cat and every time I look at it I burst with pride as a proud Mumma of such a beautiful soul. It makes me realise how lucky I am for the opportunity of being a mum and the gift of personal growth that comes with it. 2017 may have been a whirlwind of a year but through it all there has always been one constant in my life and I am always grateful for that.
Happy New Year all I hope your's started with a smile and hopefully a giggle or two.
