I was absolutely delighted when asked to photograph the preparation and build up to the Enchanted Evening event which took place on Saturday 6th February 2016 hosted by Rachel Staggs at The Balcony. The event was held in support of three charities,  MIND, MacMillan and The Katie Piper Foundation. Three amazing and worthwhile charities you will agree. 

The main event included a drinks reception, 3 course dinner followed by casino, raffle and auction all with some pretty amazing prizes alongside thought provoking and moving speeches from some of the charities ambassadors. All this and more held in the splendor of the magnificent Ballroom at The Richmond Hill Hotel, accompanied by chandeliers and sparkling fairy lights, a venue worthy of the title to the event. 

With the help of many local businesses donating items towards the prizes and an array of creative artists giving up their time to offer services such as full make and hair, the event was tipped to be a grand success. 

Unfortunately for me I was unable to attend the evening, bump not permitting and fighting off yet another 'pregnancy' cold (oh the joy!)  but for further insight into the event take a look at The Balcony Facebook page.
