(Behind the scenes)
Once a year I look forward to a weekend full of creative insights and an abundance of knowledge, like a sponge I absorb this information eager to familiarize myself with this new found insight and put what I have learnt into practice. John Denton's Boudoir Superclass at this years Societies Convention 2015, didn't disappoint.
I was surprised to be the only female photographer on the workshop out of a potential 15 delegates, did this phase me at all? Is the grass blue and the sky green? Focused in on John and hanging off his every word I listened intently as he walked us through each stage of a shoot which covered everything from settings on the camera, to rapport with your client, posing for the best body types, different lighting scenarios to seeing how the light falls on your subject helping to accentuate shape of the female form.
A multitude of learning and some pretty amazing images of the lovely (model) Charlotte L J Whiting.
